Here's what Shawn says about himself:

Hi, I’m Shawn Stevenson.

My mission is to help you become the strongest, healthiest, happiest version of yourself.

I believe that we all are AMAZING people being exactly the way we are right now. But I also believe that there is a “greater” version of us that can be accessed through the right nutrition, exercise, and transformational mindset.

In order to become this incredible, strong, happy, healthy version of yourself, you first have to identify WHY you need to become it.
And that’s where my secret sauce comes in.

I’ve been so successful over the years in helping others, not because of my vast health & fitness knowledge, but because I actually care enough to help people get connected to what’s most important to them to fuel their actions and transformation.

You can only push yourself so far, but if you get connected to your real reason for living, your vision of yourself will pull you to results far beyond what you ever thought possible.

I now have 11+ years of working with clients as one of the top Nutrition Experts in the country. I’ve seen people reverse chronic illnesses, achieve stunning levels of fitness, and lose thousands of pounds collectively. Where do those pounds go anyway? ~just a side thought… sorry, let me continue.

My story is pretty interesting.

I spent the first half of my childhood in a quiet suburban neighborhood with all of the love and attention that a child could ask for.

I spent the second half of my childhood growing up in some of the most dangerous parts of the inner city, surrounded by gangs, drugs, alcohol, and violence on a daily basis.

I was able to gain so much from both environments, and I’m truly grateful for the life I’ve been given. The situations I was in helped me cultivate perspective, resourcefulness, and (most importantly) the power of choice.

Though there were many hardships along the way, I eventually landed some scholarships and was the first person in my family to graduate college with a Bachelor’s Degree.

It was in college that my entire world really changed. Not because of the education I was receiving, but because of the devastating illness that I was diagnosed with at the age of 20.

Seemingly overnight I was in excruciating pain, I lost a great deal of function in my leg, and I could barely get from room to room in my house, let alone get around on campus anymore.

I was diagnosed with an “incurable” spinal condition known as degenerative disc disease.

Essentially, my spine was deteriorating far faster than it was supposed to. And according to my doctor at the time, I had the spine of an 80-year old person, even though I was just a young college kid.

Two entire years past, where I had some good days, but mostly bad days. All of the experts told me to take it easy, wear a back brace, and take several types of medication. What was truly devastating about the experience was not that I was in so much pain, but the fact that I was starting to lose hope.

You see, up until then I put all of my belief on what the doctors were telling me… that nothing could be done, and I just needed to “manage” this disease.

It wasn’t until I stopped accepting that nothing could be done, and instead shifted my focus on what I must do to improve my health & well-being.

My passion for learning about health exploded!

I began to devour everything that I could that had to do with health and the human body.

I changed my diet (even though my doctor said it wouldn’t have any impact), exercised in very specific ways, and watched the excess weight I had gained by laying around in bed quickly disappear.

Most importantly, the pain was gone!

People who were at my University couldn’t help but see the physical change that had happened to me. And it seemed like everyday people were asking me questions and looking for help… and THIS was the birth of my mission.

From that point on, I dedicated my life to helping others achieve the health and well-being that they deserve to have.

There’s so much misinformation out there, so I made it a mandate to create a place where people could always find proven information that could help them achieve the results they wanted.

Whenever I make a new discovery, or find a new strategy that can transform someone’s life, my email subscribers always get the inside information first.
